The city of Örebro is situated in the heart of Sweden, about halfway between Stockholm and Gothenburg. The population of almost 143,000 makes it the seventh largest town in the country. There are a lot of cycle lanes and in several places it is possible to hire a low cost municipal bike. Örebro offers many interesting tourist attractions, the most famous being the castle, which dates back to the 13th century.
